Another photoshoot with my elusive Kingfisher friend. this beautiful belted kingfisher posed for me for a quick portrait. I might of gotten a few more pictures that day but it was so windy he actually got blown off the branch !!

Great comp and I love all the curlicues on the bottoms of the twigs! I don't know if I'll ever get a close shot of one of these!
